Sounds like somebody called in a favor…this is a technicality, not an exoneration or vindication.

The former frontman of family singing group DeBarge will not be charged in connection with his arrest Monday on suspicion of drug possession with intent to sell.

So, how did the “Rhythm of the Night” crooner end up in the clear?

Simply, there was insufficient evidence to file charges against either DeBarge or another man busted at the scene, according to the LAPD.
