Commentary — 11 January 2010

Former Alpha Kappa Alpha corporate employee Kenitra Shackelford, whose original court decision to be granted unemployment (due to termination not “resignation”) was met with considerable resistance by the sorority.

To which, Barbara McKinzie promptly instructed her lawyer/”friend” Dale A. Cooter to file an appeal…a frivolous one at that.

Not surprisingly, yet refreshingly The Mo’Kelly Report learned that Ms. Shackelford once again triumphed with the judge admonishing the sorority and two of its witnesses for offering contradictory statements (i.e. lying) as to how and why the employment of Shackelford was terminated.

Specifically HR Director Michelle Williams and the Deputy Director Nicole Barrett appeared on behalf of the sorority and evidently unintentionally cleared the way for Shackelford to presumably prevail in her civil suit as well with their testimony.

Mo’Kelly will be posting documentation soon in regards to this latest decision.
