Clay Aiken has testified to Congress on behalf of GLSEN regarding anti bullying legislation. He has also been a vocal activist for the disabled and disadvantaged children, co-founding the National Inclusion Project, being appointed to the Presidential Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities, working for Unicef, and also as an activist for equality for all people and gay rights. He has appeared as a panelist on several news shows, ie Face the Nation http://youtu.be/iCY_bbeNr5c?t=3m55s and Piers Morgan http://youtu.be/ZrDrOmuHvqk
He is well spoken and knowledgeable and I think he could make a good congressman.
Mr. Mo’Kelly
I disagree. More changed can be affected on the state level. Not only that, there is something to be said by working your way up to national politics, not just jumping in with your first job as a Congressman. Work at the state assembly level/legislature level…put in your time.
