Coming up Friday on Mo’Kelly in the Morning we are loaded!  So much to tell, we just couldn’t wait.  Check out how we are going to round out the week!

Taj Paxton

She conceived the short film “A Fat Girls Guide to Yoga” The short aired on NBC.com, won NBC’s Comedy Short Cuts Award and Audience Award. NBC developed it into a pilot, making her mother proud but not enough to buy her a new house. It also gets the coveted thumbs-up on YouTube. Viewers appreciate the authentic portrayal of a full-sized woman trying to find her “Om.”

She writes a monthly column on keeping #StressFree for HollywoodJournal.com (the “Soul of the Biz”) and travels as much as possible. Before she spent countless hours staring at the screen, she was an active volunteer for Outfest, Fusion and Artists for a New South Africa.

In addition to the NBC pilot deal, her writing credits include House of Payne and producing two films – “Green Dragon,” winner of the Humanitas Prize for works that inspire human freedom and “Chasing Papi,” winner of no prizes but a fun film to watch.

Friday we celebrate her latest teleplay Live Big which is a finalist in the Urbanworld Film Festival competition.  Check out  A Fat Girl’s Guide to Yoga below.
