No, Mo’Kelly didn’t miss this story…just busy in the non-virtual world. Once again, Chris Brown is back in trouble for saying and doing the wrong thing in public view.
If you know the words to this song, feel free to sing along.
On Wednesday, Chris Brown became the latest celebrity to apologize to the LGBT community for using a gay slur in anger. The singer issued a Twitter mea culpa for an incident on Tuesday in which he lashed out at several photographers in Los Angeles whom he believed had tipped off parking-enforcement officers to his illegally parked car, saying, “Y’all n—as is weak. Did you call them to try and film me? Y’all n—as is gay!”
The comments came just days after comedian Tracy Morgan met with LGBT youth in New York following his anti-gay rant during a recent stand-up appearance, which earned the “30 Rock” star widespread scorn from the gay community for his seeming advocacy of violence against gay youth.
The Human Rights Campaign told TMZ that “invoking words to demean gay Americans is just plain unacceptable … Brown should know better.”
Brown, who has made outrageous digital comments before — including a homophobic attack on former B2K singer Raz B in December — only toask forgiveness for them a short time later, issued an apology on Twitter on Wednesday night, writing, “I have total respect for Gay community and my intention was not to insult anyone in it.”

Nowhere NEAR surprised.
Brown apologizes to the LGBT for saying “Ya’ll ni–as is gay” as a demeaning adjective, but is not compelled to apologize to the African American community for using a demeaning derogatory racial slur TWICE as a noun! SMH!
Contrary to apparent ‘conventional wisdom’, all Blacks do not consider themselves to be “ni–as” and find the term, its usage by non-representative ‘celebrity’ minorities and its acceptance by the media reprehensible.
The Human Rights Campaign loses major credibility points for not highlighting and taking issue with this equal rights infraction borne in Brown’s statement; THEY should have known better!
We allow the N-Word, the LGBT doesn’t allow the F-word or derisive use of “gay.” That’s our fault. They forced his apology on their terms. We instead gave him BET awards.
