WWE’s Titus O’Neil to Join Mo’Kelly in the Morning 10.10.13 in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A former football player for the University of Florida and the Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunshine State native Titus O’Neil knows a thing or two about hard-hitting physical dominance.

One of the most imposing NXT Rookies on season two, “The Real Deal’s” hard work paid off on the April 20 edition of SmackDown when General Manager John Laurinaitis formally placed O’Neil and his main man Darren Young on the blue team’s roster. Dubbing themselves The Prime Time Players, the cocky pair are ready to prove to the WWE Universe that they’re worth the “millions of dollars” they says they are.

Taking on the name of The Prime Time Players, Young and O’Neil are ready to prove to the WWE Universe that they’re worth the “millions of dollars” they say they are. They’ve done just that by snaring victories over WWE’s top teams, including the likes of legendary luchador Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.

O’Neil and Young, looking more fired-up than usual, took on the powerful Real Americans on the Aug. 19 edition of Raw. Their newfound fire paid off, as Titus steamrolled over Jack Swagger, leaving Young alone in the ring with Antonio Cesaro to pick up the victory for The Prime Time Players. O’Neil followed up one week later with a win over Swagger in singles competition, flooring Zeb Colter’s charge with a vicious Clash of the Titus. O’Neil and Young have been on a roll since then, picking up another win over Cesaro and Swagger, as well as a win over 3MB on the Sept. 2 edition of Raw.

The Prime Time Players emerged victorious among a field of five teams in a Tag Team Turmoil Match on the Night of Champions Kickoff, where they earned an opportunity to challenge WWE Tag Team Champions The Shield that same night. But on pay-per-view, Young and O’Neil came up short against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

The following night, The Prime Time Players teamed up with several other Superstars to help Daniel Bryan in a Pier-Six Brawl against The Shield. The confident duo were put into a match against the sadistic Wyatt Family the following week, before joining up with Bryan and the other rebels to take on The Shield. O’Neil and Young didn’t fare too well, falling to The Wyatts before being sent packing from the 11-on-3 Handicap Elimination Match.

Now that Titus O’Neil and Darren Young are firmly in Bryan’s corner, will Triple H’s regime try and stop them from reaching their goal of becoming WWE Tag Team Champions?
