(For you Chris Brown supporters…you don’t enter ‘rehab’ when you are innocent).
Chris Brown is seeking professional help after his arrest for allegedly punching a man outside a club in Washington, D.C.
“Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility,” his rep told ABC News in a statement. “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
According to a police report obtained by ABC News, Brown allegedly grew violent after 20-year-old Isaac Adams Parker tried to get into a picture that Brown was taking with two other people.
“I’m not down with that gay s***,” Brown allegedly said, before striking the man, according to a police report. “I feel like boxing.”
Parker was briefly hospitalized for bruising and swelling of the nose.
Brown, who is still on probation for attacking singer Rihanna in 2009, is due back in court next month, and has pleaded not guilty.
