Miley Cyrus Reportedly Loses Vogue Cover Over VMA TwerkFest

For those of you who sought to argue with me that all the negative publicity meant nothing but good things for Miley Cyrus, let me again reiterate my point.

Her behavior at the MTV VMAs diminished her brand and limited her commercial appeal.  It invariably turned certain potential sponsors off and putting a ceiling on her endorsement potential.

Miley Cyrus won’t be twerking her way onto the cover of storied fashion bible Vogue anytime soon.

At least that’s the buzz circulating in the fashion world, which is currently held captive in New York taking in the spring 2014 collections.

The chatter stems from a Daily Mail report that says Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour canceled Cyrus’ planned December cover after her MTV VMAs dirty-dancing fest.

Vogue spokesperson said they don’t comment on rumors about future editorial content.

Thanks for sharing this story. Her shenanigans were very disturbing and I’m glad that she is being taught this costly lesson now – hopefully she will sit down and re-embrace her talent and get out of her ego. I also hope that more discerning folks surround her – and guide her in better decision making. The few times I watched her show, I really liked it. It was inspiring to the young girls who need good examples. Thanks Mo!
