The anchor who was fired after his first day for profanity during a live broadcast will now be interviewed by David Letterman.
Meaning, Clemente’s misfortune may be the best thing that ever happened to him in his career. America, you have to love it for its ridiculous nature.
A.J. Clemente, the anchor fired from Bismark, N.D., television station KFYR after a disastrous first day, will go on the “Late Show with David Letterman” tonight to talk about it.
Clemente became an Internet phenomenon this week when a clip of him uttering on-air profanity went viral. He has since enjoyed his moment of infamy with a “Today Show” appearance, and earlier this week Letterman did a Clemente-themed Top 10 List, “Top 10 Signs Your First Day as a News Anchorman Did Not Go Well.”
