“It is resolved.”
That is the only statement either side can make regarding the outcome of the lawsuit of Rev. Brenda Lamothe against First AME of Los Angeles’ Rev. John Hunter. There is a confidentiality agreement in place which precludes either side from remarking on the issue publicly (or privately) beyond the singular statement…
“It is resolved.”
Obviously, there would be no resolution without some multi-million dollar agreement being in place. Prior to this moment, it was revealed to The Mo’Kelly Report that negotiations had been ongoing for quite some time, quite possibly to the point of a financial reward which exceeded First AME’s insurance policy. If true and (bet the house it is) this would have required personal funds from the Hunters to make up for the rest.
And by “personal funds” we mean the church’s funds…their personal piggy bank (allegedly.)
As The Mo’Kelly Report further researches this agreement, it can be best surmised that John Hunter, who originally claimed complete innocence and argued that Lamothe was trying to extort him and the general AME church, decided to instead go the Eddie Long route and settled with no public acknowledgment of wrong-doing or sexual impropriety.
How “innocent-like” of him.

I NEW HE WAS A******. NEXT IS THAT BOGUS FIRST MISTRESS, DENICE BROWN
WAY TO GO, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
What is up with all these demonic acting preachers out there in all these mega churches? Its no wonder don't want to join or go to church. We have to fix this some how…
This is why I refuse to join another church. The devil is in the pulpit. How can he preach about savings souls when he’s the biggist whoremonger in the building? I’ll stick to the “world”, at least you know where they are coming from.
Rev. Hunter has been accused, tried and convicted in the Court of Rumor And Propaganda (CRAP). You admit that you have NO FACTS to back up your claims, yet you brazenly make them regardless. Shame on you. All anyone knows, outside of the actual parties to the settlement, is that “it is resolved”.
I admit that I have seen the evidence and I do have PLENTY of facts to back up the claim. Otherwise Hunter wouldn’t have agreed to a 7-figure settlement. Do your homework next time before coming in here talking reckless.
So, now Kirkland is sending him to San Francisco….thoughts??
None really. Years too late, just moving a crook from one city to another…like when he came to Los Angeles from Seattle. If the actual problem is never addressed and the minister sat down for criminal misconduct…this means nothing.
