It’s nice to know that a “Black” president is now almost passé. Mo’Kelly isn’t

trying to be funny. Once upon a time it was unheard of and not even conceivable on TV, much less in real life.
From Morgan Freeman as “President Beck” in the movie Deep Impact to Dennis Haysbert as “President Palmer” on 24…to even Danny Glover as “President Wilson” in 2012. There’s a conversation to be had as to whether life is imitating art or whether art has helped shape life.
(The downside in each of the aforementioned roles, the “Black” president was given the task of saving the world or at least the country from imminent destruction. Sort of like today in real life. When ish gets REALLY f***** up, they call in the Brotha to save the day.)
Now in the new television show The Event, the world is once again at risk and the Black president is all up in the mix of things. This time, it’s with an “immigration twist” as actor Blair Underwood assumes the role of “President Elias Martinez”…you know, he’s one of those “Afro-Hispanic” Brothas! 🙂
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Blair Underwood, he’s good people, really good people and a reader of The Mo’Kelly Report! Mo’Kelly always supports those who support Mo’Kelly.
In fact, here’s a shoutout he gave Mo’Kelly last year! Check it out!
