Criminal Girls w/ 20 Pearls: Judge Orders AKA to Show Up or Be Found in Contempt!

UPDATE 7.13.10:

AKA FOUND IN CONTEMPT!  READ ORDER HERE!

“It has become apparent to this court that the leadership of the organization has intentionally taken steps to frustrate this court’s order,” Cook County Judge Daniel Riley said, ordering that the organization’s records custodian be in court Wednesday and bring the group’s check register, minutes book and wire-transfer documents.”

(It seems that Judge Riley specifically and pointedly first asked for Eric Salstrand, Director of Finance for the organization to show up to court tomorrow…to which AKA alleged he is in St. Louis at the Boule…)

Oh really?!

Anybody in St. Louis seen Eric?  The Director of Finance is at the Boule?  For what reason?

Oh, ok, if you say so…

APB on Eric Salstrand, you’re wanted in court tomorrow at 9am.  If you don’t show up…somebody’s flirting with jail time.  Just might be you (too).

The walls are closing in!

It's about to get interesting since the AKA executive director is still in Chicago (as far as I know) and can readily (unless instructed otherwise) show up with the check register.

Not certain whether she's in possession of the minute books, though.

I suppose we are about to witness the wheel of justice roll on?

If Salstrand shows up with any financial books tomorrow, rest assured that those books havw been "cooked".

Mo, Eric Salstrand is not going to go to jail for BAM. Trust me on this one. He is going to sing like a mockingbird if put under the radar. He is not competent either and does not work well under pressure. In fact, he is the perfect candidate to put the squeeze on by the courts since he has been the finance puppet at Corporate for BAM. If this joker is at the Boule it's a trick to it, you can't miss him, he is about 6 feet, 250 lbs, bozo hair style, Caucasion guy with glasses. It's a known fact that he did attend the previous Boule carrying about $5K in "petty cash" that "disappeared" once he arrived.

Just when I think I've seen it all…BAM is truly a gangster . She really thinks she is invincible. She expects her BOTS to rally around if Judge Riley "dares" to send marshals after her. Remember the drug dealer who had an entire city fighting to keep him from being extradited. Ever since the DC suit was dismissed BAM is feeling the power.

Von, I agree that BAM is feeling her power but I don't think that any of the BAMbots are willing to go to jail for her. Support is one thing but stupidity is something else.

I guess the Boule will get collectively mad when their money goes to bail someone out of jail….hmmm but maybe not from the way things are looking…

Question: How many boule attenders might be aware of this latest development?

Edda..Seeing is NOT believing for most of the members. If officers put cuffs on BAM while she was in the convention center one of two things will happen. They will form a protective circle around her. She is the victim after all. Or they might start looking for the hidden cameras believing they are on the tv show Punked. They never will accept or recognize the truth.

So let me see if I get this…..

Julia Purnell goes to court to enforce her rights as a member of AKA.

The court upholds her rights and orders that she be able to do what she had the right to do all along….view the records.

Those working in the national office including each and every member of the directorate determined to break the law and not just ignore the court order but act to interfere with the carrying out of the court order.

(An important point in Illinois state law is that a member of a board of directors is "conclusively presumed to have assented to the action taken unless his or her dissent is entered in the minutes of the meeting or unless he or she files his or her written dissent to such action with the person acting as the secretary of the meeting before the adjournment thereof or forwards such dissent by registered or certified mail to the secretary of the corporation immediately after the adjournment of the meeting. Such right to dissent does not apply to a director who voted in favor of such action." 805 ILCS sec 8.65 (b) http://law.justia.com/illinois/codes/chapter65/64… THUS EVERY MEMBER OF THE DIRECTORATE — SOON TO BE OUR EXECUTIVES — UNLESS THEY CAN PRODUCE SUCH WRITTEN DOCUMENT IS LEGALLY CULPABLE!!)

And Illinois State Law also provides that we do not have to indemnify the actions of anyone who acts against the interests of our organization ("who is liable to the corporation…") (see 805 ILCS 8.75 (b)) — it's sort of hard to argue that breaking the law is in the interest of any organization — AND the only ones who can vote to indemnify them is someone NOT party to the legal complaint against them. (see 805 ILCS 8.75 (d))

So how can these ladies afford to continue to violate the court order. The sorority does not have to indemnify them — does not have to pay their attorneys NOR any fines for contempt. I hope their lawyers know how they will get paid!

Are there any legal types here who can clarify this for me?

    Oh Mo’Kelly,

The glimpses that I am getting from the Friends of the WI site makes it sound like my sorority is circling the drain!

    I am sooooo upset!

Soror Bonnie is my aunt (my mother’s baby sister)and my soror and so I am heartbroken and mad as hell!!!!

Thank you for staying on top of this!!! You may be the last real journalist in America! Thanks to you — my sorors will have the order in their hand when they go to work tomorrow.

    I pray that it helps!!!

While we're asking questions, one did come up as to how far reaching the judge's authority reaches – as in how will an Illinois warrant be executed in Missouri.

As for forming a protective shield around BAM should the marshals appear with an arrest warrant, what you have described is typical "lemming" behavior.

I think Judge, at this point, is only interested in monetary damages for the contempt charges. He probably has NOT been following the particular twists and turns of this particular case.

What needs to happen now (IMHO) is that the Chicago lawyer seek a cease and desist order, such that the organization is placed under court supervision.

Paying close attention since our boule is in about 10 days – Dallas TX.

We have similar problems but remain under the radar since the monetary amounts are not as dazzling and we have no one willing to prosecute.

We are a herd of lambs, all a-crying……….

Mo, what happened in court this morning?

    A Serious Matter

According to the WI8 website, the Director of Human Resources for AKA appeared in court this morning empty-handed and testified that everything was under lock&key at the Corporate office and she did not have the key. The judge then found AKA in civil contempt of court. He stated that the leadership is intentionally frustrating the court and ordered that the custodian of the key MUST appear in court tomorrow at 9:00AM with the key.

  14. StrikeOneForTheLittl Avatar
    StrikeOneForTheLittl

WOW…just WOW… by "playing games and being defiant" against his order, they get to come back another day to present the key? Giving them another day to "cook" the books? I bet if he would have locked him/her up, that key would have been found. Talk about I don't give a flying (you know what)about the judges order!

    1. mrmokelly Avatar

This defiance only ratchets up the consequences. I don't mind waiting one more day because it means that someone "high up" will have to go to jail…probably sooner than later. Remember it's in part due to AKA's "delays" that we've gained media coverage. This all works together for good.

Barbara McKinzie operates like an arrogant white man. So far she has backed everybody off of her. Let's see if the judge can "show her what he's working with" and arrest her butt.

When I pledged AKA 24 years ago, there is no way that you could have paid me $1 million—no make that $2 million—to believe that this present day crime drama would be going on. Whoever invents a hand-held lie detector that the Divine 9 can use on every "applicant" will be a BILLIONAIRE overnight. BAM could not have done what she has done for as long as she has without help from so-called members. I say so-called because it is obvious that members of the Frozen Directorate and shady past National Presidents had no real love or respect for AKA in the first place…just the chance to front the colors. That is why it so easy for them to be complicit in this madness. Plus the perks in cash and prizes that BAM has given them, like a game show host. And it has been a game hasn't it? BAM's Price Ain't Right or BAM wants to be a Millionaire (with AKA's money.) I had high hopes for Boule, but my niece and several of her chapter members are there and they are surprised at how many sorors are saying this (drama) is the Weeping Ivies fault…without saying a word about BAM's stealing. A candidate for First National President has convinced a lot of people that BAM could not steal what she deserved. Spare me! IRS, Judge Riley, Illinois AG…some how the stars have to line up for retribution…hopefully SOON!

The candidate for First Anti-Supreme who thinks BAM is wonderful is Juanita Sims Doty who happens to also be unemployed. Another millionaire at AKA's expense in the making.

Now WHO do you think will show tomorrow morning.

Judge needs to be quite specific since “custodian of the keys” is wide enough for a mack truck to cozy up through.

Perhaps now he will consider a “cease and desist” order?

    1. mrmokelly Avatar

I think it's irrelevant. Whoever shows up will invariably be asked who was "orchestrating" these delays because presumably nobody is willing to go to jail for BAM. Meaning, it will still point back to her. The walls continue to close in and there seems to be no other cards left to play.

And what be the status of Cynthia Finch in her quest to be the future "queen"? Inquiring minds want to know these things.

Still on pins and needles about the identity of just who will "show" in court today.

The BGLO world awaits all of this with baited breath.

As to "fault". these folks remind me of those who were MAD at Malcolm for revealing the children of Elijah's secretaries but weren't at all upset at him (Elijah) for breaking one of the most sacred of Islam's rules.

Years later, the revisionists want to say that all was okay with Sister Clara.

    Whoops! Telling my age again?

Malcolm couldn't tell what Elijah had done had Elijah kept his rocket in his pocket?

Oh well, back to the festivities of TODAY?
