Yes, Mo’Kelly thinks Chuck is very funny. And Kenan Thompson is quickly growing on Mo’Kelly too.

They’re both funny, but this skit is so not funny and the sterotypes are so offensive that I had to stop.
Cue “Barber Shop”. Either one. Any scene.
Interesting. Explain… (in regards to stereotypes)
Black: criminal. Black: violent. Black: stupid.
I didn’t go that deep. I looked at it as a parody of the 70s series “Scared Straight.”
Sure. Using easy stereotypes. All I can say was that I cringed til I just stopped.
It might have been funnier if one of the white kids played the son and Kenan played one of the delinquents.
Make that: “It might have been funny.” As it was, I found no humor.
I’d have to ask did you see the series back in the 70s? Because they were much like the skit. They usually took some white “delinquents” as in truancy/trespassing and took them to a prison and had the inmates use every horrible image imaginable to scare them straight.
If there is no point of reference, then yes, it would be unfunny for me too. But the way they mimicked the show was spot on…
Yes I saw the show back then.
As I recall there were white cons too.
