Why anyone tries crack the FIRST time, Mo’Kelly will never know.  How many instances of celebrity failure must there be before folks understand that the only non-addicted users are non-users?

NEW YORK (AP) — Whitney Houston is back in rehab.

A representative for the superstar singer confirmed Monday that Houston is undergoing treatment. Kristen Foster says Houston is in an out-patient program for drug and alcohol treatment. She says it is a voluntary measure and part of Houston’s “long-standing” recovery process.

The 47-year-old, one of the most successful singers in pop music history, has battled problems with drug addiction for years. But in 2009, as she released a comeback album, she declared herself healthy and clean.

However, her 2010 tour overseas was troubled: Houston canceled some dates due to illness and received negative reviews from fans who were disappointed in the quality of her voice and performance. Earlier this year, she gave an uneven performance in tribute to cousin Dionne Warwick at music mogul Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala.

It’s unclear how long Houston will be in rehab or where she’s being treated; Foster had no further comment. However, Houston has been visible recently: Last week, she sang on stage with Chaka Khan during Prince’s concert in Los Angeles.

For those who may not remember actress Maia Campbell, she was prominently featured on the sitcom In the House, starring LL Cool J.  And believe you me, Mo’Kelly had a SERIOUS crush on Campbell.  We shared the same birthday, hung out at the same clubs (even the lesbian ones…yes Mo’Kelly has some good stories to share one day about Club Peanuts [aka "Club 7969"], stories which include Maia, Queen Latifah and others.  It’s not slander when it’s true.  FIRSThand accounts.

For those unfamiliar with the Los Angeles club scene, “Peanuts” was a LEGENDARY women-only club.  Mo’Kelly was allowed in because he worked in the music industry and delivered wax for the DJs and did promotional giveaways there.  On another side note, the worst fistfights Mo’Kelly ever witnessed were in this club.  Them women didn’t play!)

But Mo’Kelly digresses.

As they say, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.  Once upon a time, Mo’Kelly would have given his left…uh…um…”arm” to get with Maia Campbell.

Luckily, somebody above knew better and kept Mo’Kelly safe from himself.  Ladies and gentlemen, Maia, who has disappeared and reappeared depending on whether she was in jail, rehab, (allegedly) on the stroll or some sordid combination of all three has re-emerged.  Well sorta…she was arrested on July 5th and has remained in jail/rehab unable to meet bail.  Reportedly her next court date is tomorrow Wednesday.

Sad tale and it will only have one ending as nobody has successfully intervened.  Maia Campbell…a NOT crack-free zone.

No need for a "bodyguard" anymore...

How does Mo’Kelly know this?  Well look at the picture.  Girl is eating well!  Not too sure about wearing white, but at least this is evidence of her kicking the crack habit.

Then again, looking at the hair, maybe not.  Mo’Kelly is just trying to be “positive.”

Mo’Kelly never thought this day would come.  Meaning, Whitney off of crack or in a white bathing suit/underwear with a beer belly.
