Tea Party Politician Jules Manson Calls for Supporters to ‘Assassinate (Obama) the F***** N***** and His Monkey Children’ (PHOTO)
But don’t think the Tea Party has a racist element…(wink, wink). Don’t hold your breath expecting Tea Party leadership to “denounce” such rhetoric. It’s not what they do.
Nothing left to say about the Tea Party. Have a nice day. Let us put to rest the debate as to whether the Tea Party fosters or encourages an attitude of racism within its ranks.
You can take a look at Manson’s unlocked Facebook wall (and comment to him) HERE.

Herman Cain Wins Florida Straw Poll…Then Responds to Morgan Freeman (VIDEO)
For what it’s worth, Herman Cain won the Florida Straw Poll. If you ask Mo’Kelly, not a big deal; not a game changer. Unless Cain can sustain momentum that translates to real acceptance in the party and not token affection as an “Anti-Obama”…means nothing.
But after his win, he took to the airwaves to defend against the claims of the Tea Party being racist by actor Morgan Freeman.

Rapper Lil Wayne Gives His Thoughts on the GOP…Have Mercy
In a recent interview with Vibe magazine, the two-time felon rapper was asked his
thoughts on the recent GOP debate. To which he offered the following:
I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask ‘Am I the person they’re talking about or am I not?’ You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us.”
First, only people who are not in jail and not on parole can vote in the state of New York…meaning Lil Wayne will not vote in 2012 and did not in 2010.
Secondly, even if he were eligible, do you really think Lil Wayne would be both registered and at the ballot box?
Really?
In truth, Lil Wayne is little different from the Tea Party…they are both in many ways ignorant and uninformed about the realities of Washington.
Why do we keep asking the least informed about issues of politics? Yes, Mo’Kelly understands how journalists want their work to spread virally and asking rappers about politics is a surefire way to do it.
Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity will come calling soon, you can best believe.
But to skip over the MOST important and relevant information (such as his four children by four different women, arrests on drugs and gun charges and overall disrespect of women in his music)…just to get his meaningless opinion about a GOP debate he clearly did not watch, is piss-poor in nature.
Lil Wayne has opinions on the supposed disrespect of President Obama along the lines of race over the past 2.8 years, but is just fine with the relentless misogyny in his own music over the past 10 years of his career?
Vibe didn’t feel the need to acknowledge the obvious contradiction and hypocrisy? It’s ok for him to refer to other Black men as N****s, but not ok for Republicans to engage in obstructionist politics with racial undercurrents?
Vibe didn’t feel any inherent responsibility in pointing out the obvious there?
Answering a political question does not a priori rise to the level of astute political commentary. Mo’Kelly has said a dozen times before and maybe will have to a hundred times more. All men and women are created equal, but not all opinions. Some are more informed than others. Some are misinformed and others are wholly uninformed. We must stop rewarding and elevating ignorance and serving it up as something supposedly informative or beneficial for our young people.
Record sales and music videos don’t in any way validate one’s politics or political musings. Never have and never will.
Stop asking those hip-hoppers who are leading the race to the bottom what they think about politics, when they do not actively participate, espouse informed opinions or encourage voter diligence.
Hip-hop does not want Mo’Kelly’s opinion on hip-hop and conversely, Mo’Kelly doesn’t want hip-hop’s opinion on politics. Leave the heavy lifting to the trained professionals. Lil Wayne is free to wax poetic on all the jewelry, cars, drugs, misogyny, prison, wanton frivolity and Black self-hatred in which he is an expert. Outside of that, leave the issues of serious importance and concern to those who actually care and are working for the improvement of the African-American community, not its debasement.
If Republicans don’t like “us,” fools like Lil Wayne clearly are adding zero to the equation on our behalf.

Bachmann’s Early Success Could Mean Sarah Palin Candidacy…YES!
Let’s go Michele Bachmann! Push ‘em out, shove ‘em out…WAYYYYY OUT!
Yes, you read that correctly. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s Iowa Straw Poll victory wasn’t only great news for the Bachmann campaign, it was also tremendous news for the Sarah Palin “campaign.” Which a priori is wonderful news for President Obama’s re-election bid.
A vote for Bachmann, is a step closer to a Palin candidacy/nomination. Nothing in this world would make me happier than Sarah Palin declaring her candidacy for president of these United States. And the southern evangelicals think God doesn’t have a sense of humor! Bite your tongue and hush yo’ mouth!
Maybe it’s wishful thinking but all the signs are there. Palin was on a reconnaissance mission in Iowa last weekend, looking to gain insight as to the viability of the Palin name in middle-America.
Bachmann may be the Tea Party Caucus chair in Washington, but Palin is for many the titular head of the movement nationwide. It begs the question, does Bachmann derive her presidential support due to the absence of Sarah Palin or in preference over her?
I say the former and not the latter.
The recent debate performance by Bachmann suggests that her voting base is enamored with the idea of her “principled leadership.”
Hold your jokes, I’m getting there.
Mo’Kelly said THE IDEA of her “principled leadership.” not the contradicting reality. Tim Pawlenty tried unsuccessfully to clue in the Republicans that Bachmann is running on rhetoric, not her actual record (which boasts zero political victories of note.)
But Republicans are consistent, they aren’t interested in facts and that bodes VERY well for a Palin candidacy. Please God, have mercy upon the Democrats and allow this to happen.
Bachmann wants to have it both ways. She wishes to campaign on the ideological platform of “sending a message” to Washington, but also wants you to forget that her office is also located in Washington. Yes, Republicans were never ones to let simple minutia like that get in the way. Remember, this is the party which brought you both The Birthers and the Iraq War. Facts are not their strong suit.
O.J. Simpson will find “the real killers” right around the time George W. Bush finds the Iraq WMDs.
But I digress. Maybe it’s just Mo’Kelly, but Bachmann seems every bit the diet version of Sarah Palin.
All of the intolerance, with just half the fallacies.”
For as extreme as the Congresswoman may seem at times, she’s not Sarah Palin. Palin is in a padded room of a hospital wing all by herself. She worked very hard to earn that distinction, let’s not take it away from her now.
You can’t spell “simpleton” without an “S” and a “P.”
And Sarah Palin probably couldn’t spell it…well, at all…even with a dictionary.
But I again digress.
As long as Palin remains on the periphery as a pundit and not a presidential candidate, Bachmann is arguably the best Tea Party option amongst this field of uncharismatic, post-Reagan conservatives. That simply can not happen. Heaven is oh so close.
Palin is who the Tea Party wants. Hell, Palin is who I want. Palin is who the Tea Party deserves. And I absolutely mean that in the most loving yet condescending way.
Give the people what they want!
I want Sarah Palin on national television debating Michele Bachmann, vying for the title of Republican nominee most anti-Islamic, anti-Gay, anti-African-American, anti-working class, xenophobic human in all America. Somebody is taking home that trophy, let’s just make sure the best are on the field when it is handed out. That’s why the Republican presidential nomination should be set up like the BCS. #1 plays #2. Like college football, if we can’t get a playoff, this is the next best thing. And you can even hold it in the Cotton Bowl…for obvious and symbolic 20th century Republican reasons. Do the math.
Congresswoman Bachmann garnering the nomination taking home the title of “Most Hateful Republican” without Sarah Palin opposing her is like the Houston Rockets winning the NBA Championship while Michael Jordan is on a baseball diamond…as in worthy of an asterisk. Democrats need to show some spine and get in line with this idea. A campaign donation for Bachmann is a vote of confidence for Sarah Palin. Let nature take its course after that.
The Tea Party deserves better and so does Reality TV. We could feature it on NatGeo, sandwiched in-between all those prison shows. Sambo’s…er uh, Denny’s restaurants could be the title sponsor. You’ve got to see the bigger picture Democrats.
Football would have the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl…Republicans would have the Republican National Convention Denny’s Hate Bowl.
Palin says she will make a final decision by the end of September. Dear God, please let this happen. In fact, I don’t know if this falls under God’s or Santa Claus’ purview. But just to be sure, I’ll be both praying and emailing the North Pole under separate cover.
Glory Hallelujah and Deck the Halls!
For the next 30 days, I’m all about Team Bachmann. See the big picture Democrats…see the big picture.

Time for President Obama to Channel Samuel L. Jackson
There’s an old saying which admonishes us to “take care of home first.” There’s
another which says “know which side your bread is buttered.” Or how about, “dance with who brung ya.” All of them offer the same general pearls of wisdom; knowing where your true support base resides and making sure they remain your top priority.
Everyone else is secondary.
President Obama by most accounts is as vulnerable as ever since ascending to the Oval Office. We can analyze the minutia ad infinitum, point our fingers of blame at Tea Party politics and assail the rhetoric of the right wing more broadly. Nevertheless, the problems of President Obama are ultimately of his own creation. We can even make a meaningful and substantive argument as to how the debt ceiling fiasco was a direct result of extremist interests which took Congress hostage. It’s neither here nor there. President Obama is the captain of this ship and when it runs aground, blame will be cast accordingly and rightfully.
Many within the Democratic party have become disenchanted with the president because he has not clung to the party ideology or protected what loyalists hold most dear. What heretofore was untouchable in the debt ceiling debate was put on the table in order to resolve it.
Not cool.
Republicans never made any attempt to meet him halfway. A bipartisan approach to governance only works when the opposing party is actually interested in working for the good of the country. If the earlier healthcare reform debate revealed anything at all, it’s that Republicans are wholly uninterested in working with this administration; only about the business for maintaining the socioeconomic status quo through obstruction.
Bailing out the banks and the automotive industry may have been nice gestures, but did nothing for the widest swath of America. I wonder what the average American feels at this moment, battling historic levels of unemployment and incessant calls from bank creditors trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. Unfortunately, average Americans weren’t afforded the opportunity to come before Congress with equal levels of arrogance and impunity on the way to receiving a fresh start as Wall Street did. For all the discussion of Wall Street Vs. Main Street during the election of 2008, Main Street got the shaft. Again.
Take care of home first.”
President Obama has not and we now have an unhappy home…for those of us who still have one.
The reality is that Wall Street can not and will not get President Obama re-elected. They never were connected to the Democratic base and never will be.
Know which side of your bread is buttered.”
President Obama has made political concession after concession after concession; arguably to position his administration above the partisan fray of recent years. While ostensibly admirable, it has yielded nothing, except an emboldened Republican opposition and increased Democratic disillusion. Give a mouse a cookie, he won’t thank you and leave, he’ll demand a glass of milk to wash it down.
America has a rodent problem. Mr. President, please stop feeding the animals. You have given the Republicans an inch and now they’re running the proverbial mile.
I’ll use 100 more trite clichés if need be.
If they help encourage our President to finally go “Samuel L. Jackson” on the Republicans, I’m all for it. The Pulp Fiction Samuel L. Jackson. The Negotiator Samuel L. Jackson, complete with screaming, profanity and facial contortions.
Yes, President Obama addressing America from the Oval Office a la ”Julius” citing Ezekiel 25:17 wouldn’t only be cool, it would now be appropriate.
Enough is enough.
A disillusioned Democratic base historically has signified low voter turnouts on election day and ultimately Republican victories.
African-Americans, White middle-America and Latinos voted for Obama en masse in 2008, hoping for a different climate and a change to the Washington modus operandi. We collectively escorted Barack Obama to the Inaugural Ball.
I won’t speak for anyone else, but I know we as African-Americans are still waiting for our turn to cut in and dance this waltz.
Dance with who brung ya.”
Elections are swung by small margins, not large ones. President Obama retaining only 88% of the African-American vote in 2012 as opposed to the estimated 92% or more in 2008 could be disastrous.
Despite seemingly dire circumstances, we all know the political climate changes by the hour. Just months ago our president was riding high on the wave of having killed Osama Bin Laden. These days he is mired in an economic morass, simultaneous to the loss of 30 American servicemen in Afghanistan in a tragic helicopter ambush.
The winds will change directions multiple times between now and election day 2012. The question is whether our president will impose his will on the weather or continue to choose the path of least resistance in his ongoing effort to be conciliatory. In the remaining months of this term, I implore President Obama to return to the fundamental principles of the Democratic Party, leading the way and no longer allowing rogue Republican interests to stand in the way. It is essential and integral to restoring the party base which must undergird any re-election bid.
Otherwise, any inferior Republican candidate will easily become our next Commander-in-chief. President Obama channeling Samuel L. Jackson would have something special for the Republicans, the “Party of ‘no’”…see below.

Thank You GOP for Making ‘The Blacks” Decision for 2012
There’s a pearl of wisdom that’s been passed down in African-American
households over the years. As to attribution, not quite sure. After a quick internet search, the inimitable Dr. Maya Angelou seems most often credited.
“When someone shows you who they are…believe them.”
The Grand Old Party, the supposed “Party of Lincoln” has repeatedly and consistently shown itself to be completely disinterested in meeting the political needs of the African-American electorate base. It wants our votes to be sure; but in the way the philandering husband never intends to legitimize his mistress but likes the privilege of stopping by on occasion when convenient. We know when and why you come knocking in the midnight hour of the election cycle; the routine is rather staid and superficial.
Time and time again the GOP has shown America who she is. It’s about time we start believing them.
Former RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman was quite astute in his contention that the party needed to do more than simply ask for the African-American vote come election time. It must be about the business of consistency and sincerity.
Epic fail. Notice the L-sign with my thumb and index finger in the middle of my forehead.
This is not about than any singular email sent by a random, GOP staffer which celebrated the worst depictions of African-Americans. (And believe you me, there have been a bunch.) It is though about the party complicit in its promulgation and its reticence in condemnation. It is always a struggle for the GOP to not do the racist thing, to not do the homophobic thing, to not get an attitude after the fact when we remind you to do the right thing in response. It is a tiresome struggle to remind the GOP that we are Black, we are Brown and we are even gay and lesbian in this 21st century America.
You don’t like us…any of us. We get it.
We know, we know. “Some of your best friends are (insert minority).” Yes, you will be quick to remind us how good of a relationship you have with “The Blacks.” But it’s time for you to hear what your relationship really is; instead of condescending and misguided Heritage Foundation talking points alleging something it’s not.
No, you don’t have a good relationship with “The Blacks,” “The Browns” or anyone else unlike you.
This is not about any singular candidate who confuses a coherent political agenda with a call-to-arms to question the President’s birth certificate. It is about the party in support of the legislation in Arizona born of such transparent silliness. We judge you GOP by the bills you write, the bull you speak and the Bush Doctrine you support.
“When someone shows you who they are…believe them.”
The Republican Party is still promulgating the lie that it is “The Party of Lincoln,” while gleefully disavowing documented civil rights history. The reasons why African-Americans have been so loyal to the Democratic Party are inextricably linked to the progressive legislative legacies of President Harry Truman through President Lyndon Baines Johnson. Some credit to be sure to Eisenhower but let’s not rewrite history.
The signing of the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act signaled the the mass exodus of then-Democrats to the Republican Party. The Democratic Party cratered itself because of its support of the movement. The political upheaval led to the birth of the Dixiecrats; the ancestral forefather of the Tea Party.
The Republican Party of 2011 is a direct descendant of the push back to the Civil Rights Movement, not the linear progression of the Abraham Lincoln legacy. For example, former “Democrats” Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms come to mind for starters. The present day Republican party is a reflection and evolution of the Dixiecrat vision and all of its segregationist splendor. The lies have gone on for far too long. It is time to tell the truth for the sake of those so easily caught up in anti-immigration and birth certificate disinformation.
Mo’Kelly is here to tell you GOP, African-Americans by and large are not appreciative of your paltry trinkets of disaffection. You want our votes, just not us. We get it. Trust me we do.
Well you can’t have them. And you surely don’t have us.
You’d let your party go straight to hell in a hand basket, riding the coattails of Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, rather than acknowledging the obvious; your president is a Black, American born man of Christian faith. You’d rather have your then RNC chair Michael Steele apologize and in effect “kneel” to radio host Rush Limbaugh than putting Limbaugh and his historical racism in its proper place.
You’ve shown us who you are…we believe you.
Not only that, Latinos are here to stay and there are more gay people in America than just an “unfortunate” Idaho senator in a Minnesota airport bathroom or a handful of closeted right-wing hypocrite ministers. Hopefully I’m not the one who had to break the news to you, but your track record suggests otherwise.
You want an America which reflects the vision of its founders, except for when it includes religious freedom for Muslims. You desire one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all; except for those of Latino descent and averse to proving citizenship on demand. You want an America for the pursuit of happiness, except for those who are gay or lesbian.
It doesn’t matter if you talk until you’re blue in the face about the alleged political inadequacies of President Obama, because you couch it within disrespect of his race, his wife and even his birthright. The bulk of your complaints are not politically principled, they’re just plain old pitiful. No, I’m not interested in hearing your arguments about the supposed excessive spending of this Democratic administration as long as you give equal respect to those carrying poster boards depicting that same President and First Lady as chimpanzees or savages with bones through their noses.
You don’t offer a reasonable political alternative, you only reaffirm why Democratic apathy (although unappreciated) will always be a lesser evil than Republican ignominy. We suffer no illusions, we are in a loveless marriage with the Democratic Party. But collectively trading down for a vindictive Republican mistress is not a viable option.
In the words of Johnnie Taylor, “it’s cheaper to keep her.”
You want the votes of African-Americans, just not all the fuss of having to respect those of us casting them.
I get it.
We collectively get it and we believe you. Re-election for President Obama in 2012 and thank you for your part in solidifying our decision.
