Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’ Smacking Down Dissenters on Facebook (PHOTOS)
“Madea Simmons,” the central character in the Tyler Perry franchise has an official and authorized Facebook Page which falls under the Perry brand. On it, you get musings from “Madea,” on a wide-variety of issues, including the casting of Kim Kardashian.
Yes, it’s odd, a fictitious movie character who chimes in on the real casting of a movie. Nevertheless, it is a sanctioned page of the Perry empire.
And yes, Mo’Kelly knows that “Madea” is a character which tends to act this way. But Mo’Kelly also knows bad business and mistreatment of loyal fans when he sees it in action. These are serious issues, not to be dismissed. It was serious enough for Perry to release a letter to his fans, so nobody can claim ignorance.
No, we don’t think Tyler himself is providing the commentary on a daily basis, he surely has better things to do than play “Madea” on Facebook all day. But let’s be clear, this too is an extension of the Tyler Perry brand which has hitched its star to the Kim Kardashian wagon. This too is indicative of how Perry thinks about his fans. Clearly, the behavior of “Madea” in how “she” interacts with the public is endorsed by Tyler Perry. Take it for what it’s worth.

Side note: Umm..Maylene, the devil is a lie but whoever said you were literate and could spell is a liar too. If you Maylene Jones think that the anger over casting of Kim Kardashian is somehow the work of the devil…uh, never mind. But check out how Dianne Washington responds below…
“Madea” could have ignored Dianne…”Madea” could have tempered the histrionics given the seriousness of the issue, relative to the brand. But no, couldn’t do that. There’s an old adage in media…be careful how you talk to or engage the public, because you never know that person’s stature or sphere of influence. You never know what they will say or do after leaving you.
Today is case in point.
Now note the response from “Madea” on the official Facebook page of “Madea Simmons.” This evidently is acceptable behavior within the brand. This is how “Tyler Perry” is engaging his audience beyond his letter. This is the message that has been sent down from the top. Nice of “Madea” to throw in “God’s blessing” yet use it in an altogether unGodly manner. And so goes the enduring “kinda-sorta-Christian” meme throughout all of Perry’s properties.
“God” and “blessings” and “devil is a lie” are mentioned…not much Christianity to be found…ANYWHERE. (Just highlighting the obvious).
Take the ignorance for what it’s worth… THIS is what supporting the Tyler Perry brand seems to mean. THIS is the message that he wishes to put forth.
Hmmm…but Mo’Kelly’s friend Dennis L. brought it all home with the following scripture:
Luke 15:4
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Matthew 18:12
How think yes? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Hmmm…like I said, “kinda-sorta-Christian”…

Dear Tyler Perry, You Don’t Get It
(The audio comes from KJLH 102.3 FM here in Los Angeles which covered and highlighted the following piece.)
I have never been concerned with gaining favor with celebrities or undeservedly denigrating one’s work. I have always prided myself on putting my community first, even when doing so has been unpopular and frankly unappreciated by members of that same community.
So understand that my letter to you is on principle…not personal animus. This comes not from someone who is a fan of “this” or “that” person, but a fan of the community of African-Americans. It comes first in all I do.
The problem I personally have with your letter Mr. Perry which offered insight into your decision-making process in casting Kim Kardashian, is that it seeks to weave a disingenuous narrative. You seem to suggest that the sum total story of redemption to be told in Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor holds more weight than the nature of its components.
Untrue.
The issue isn’t whether K.K. is appropriate or whether you Mr. Perry have the right to create as you see fit. Nobody is deluded here. Nothing is going to change from this letter, neither your mind nor your movie. Nevertheless, some things need to be said and placed on the record because the truth doesn’t change either and isn’t subject to interpretation. Meaning, the issue I have is that your letter to your fans was an attempt to spin the casting of Kim Kardashian into some higher calling.
That can not pass without a truth check. Again, this isn’t personal, just a matter of principle.
Some people are angry with you because Kim Kardashian receives too much attention as a Black man’s pin up. Some are angry with you because she is not an actress by any stretch of the imagination. Others are displeased that given your high profile movies, an African-American actress in the role means more to your core fan base who made “Tyler Perry” a household name, than fans you may gain by crossing over and dipping into the Reality TV punch bowl. And let’s be honest, many are disturbed that given your kinda-sorta-Christian-themed-message-movies, you are further rewarding an individual whose original claim to fame was a sex tape.
For all who criticize you on this issue, it has to do with some of that. For some, it is all of that. Inevitably, the distaste for Kim Kardashian amongst many African-American women (your core fan base) is real, not imagined. Take considerable care in the underestimation of their angst and the strength of their collective memory.
A common theme in all of your movies is the story of redemption. Even the worst of the worst are worthy of second chances.
Agreed.
But Mr. Perry, you can’t really argue telling the STORY of redemption through use of a promotion vehicle (Kardashian) who presently lives and thrives on irredeemable REAL LIFE behavior. I’d rather see a sermon lived out in real life than one acted out on the silver screen. People who live their creed affect more lives than ones who act it out for a paycheck. If you want to truly reach the followers of K.K., seek to change K.K., don’t give her a movie role and then claim you are doing your fans (and her fans) a quasi-Christian favor by doing so. I think we all understand the economics and business strategy here. There is no need to further convolute the issue.
Truth check: Spiritual discernment still trumps spin and specious argumentation.
K.K. wasn’t an actress who “made a mistake” and who now is being granted a second chance. It’s a “mistake” to even characterize her as an actress. Her claim to fame IS the mistake.
And here you are further rewarding it. Truth check.
If your fans are angry with you (and they are); let’s be truthful and honest about the realities of their anger. Let’s not minimize, trivialize or bastardize the nature of their grievances. It’s not that they didn’t “hear you out” or “jumped to conclusions.” You’ve insulted their intelligence by suggesting their anger was misdirected or misinformed in the first place.
Your company is yours to run as you see fit, your brand to build as you choose. Your success thus far is inarguable. None of the aforementioned ensure though that your judgment is infallible. Don’t glue chicken feathers on a chinchilla Saturday night and then try to sell it at KFC as part of a two-piece and biscuit Sunday morning. Don’t insult the collective intelligence of the African-American film community.
You’ve now tied your brand to Kim Kardashian and must now carry all of the baggage that comes with her. The question is not and was not ever whether your loyal fans understood why you chose Kim Kardashian. The question is and continues to be whether you understood what it means to align yourself with Kim Kardashian.
Respectfully,
Morris W. O’Kelly

Tyler Perry Fans Turn into ‘Proper Negroes’ Over Kardashian Casting
The African-American entertainment community has been not-so-quietly bubbling about
director Tyler Perry’s decision to cast reality TV star Kim Kardashian in the upcoming movie, The Marriage Counselor. The obvious irony of the film title aside; purportedly Tyler fans generally and Black actresses specifically are none-too-pleased how Kardashian has further entrenched herself in African-American culture.
Actress and television personality Holly Robinson Peete, while not personally disparaging the Perry decision, did breathe more life into the criticism with recent public remarks on Access Hollywood.
We can always count on Tyler Perry to give a blacktress a job. So all across the world blacktresses are upset.
“No, it’s [an] amazing PR move. It’s actually pretty smart and the timing is great. Like her brand, this drama will be good for the film. So, it’s actually kind of brilliant in a way… I don’t have any problems with it.”
At the risk of over-analyzing Peete’s remarks, Mo’Kelly is a bit confused after reading them.
Are we to lend more credence to the angst of the multitude of Black actresses (Blacktresses) worldwide or the fact that this singular Blacktress is ok with Perry’s casting? To whom should we pay more attention?
Let’s take Holly Robinson Peete at her word. Her connections and sphere of influence relative to Black actresses can’t be argued. If she says that there is voluminous criticism related to casting Kim Kardashian, Mo’Kelly is comfortable taking her at her word.
There now seems to be a bit of hypocrisy in the criticism of Perry by both Black actresses and his general fan base. If you are a fan of Perry, your fandom is inextricably linked to the idea that Perry makes films the way he wants to make them; without deference to any supposed higher calling or ethnic loyalty. You can’t be a fan of Perry and simultaneously be on the front lines battling Black film stereotypes. It’s an either/or proposition. If you are a Perry fan, then you willingly carry all of his associated baggage. Conversely, if you are adamant in advocating quality Black film or casting quality Black actresses, then that heavy baggage is yours to carry as well. It is an irreconcilable contradiction to suggest one can be both. They are simply mutually exclusive in nature.
The fact of the matter is that Perry has not changed. If he has been anything, he has been wholly consistent. Tyler Perry is still making those decisions which financially best benefit his brand, his business and ultimately his bottom line. He never pre-promised all of his roles to Black women any more than he pre-promised a limit on how many times he would don a dress as Madea.
If you as a “fan” were comfortable with Perry’s artistic freedom up until now, then don’t get brand new over Kim Kardashian. The fans (and Black actresses) who were quite vocal in their support of Perry don’t get to move the goal posts now because Kim Kardashian “offends” them. You “fans” were just fine giggling and ghetto cosigning with Al Sharpton
when he characterized Perry detractors as “Proper Negroes”…as if being being proper in any way is ever worthy of ridicule.
Film director Malcolm Lee has said that Perry “isn’t interested in art,” questioning the commitment of Perry to mastering his craft. Spike Lee has long beat the drum that Perry has done African-Americans a cinematic disservice. Tyler Perry fans weren’t having any of it. Tyler Perry fans called the family Lee “haters,” jealous and the like.
But now the core fans are up in arms, suggesting that Perry is now being disloyal to Black actresses? The “Proper Negroes” have long been clear on how Perry perceives himself, his work and eventual legacy. The “Proper Negroes” were in no way disturbed about Kim Kardashian taking the place of a Kimberly Elise, a Kerry Washington, a Gabrielle Union, a Regina King, or some other lesser-known, higher-qualified Black actress. To the “Proper Negroes,” Tyler was just being Tyler. The Proper Negroes are now laughing loudly at the angry Tyler Perry fans.
Not laughing with them but at them.
Perry fans are doing their best “Proper Negroes” impression. But nobody is suggesting that either their complaints are unfounded or rooted in jealousy and haterism. Therein lies the hypocrisy.
The common argument in support of Perry has been long connected to the idea of how
many Black people he puts to work, on and off the screen. The common rebuttal is that the imagery on the screen will long outlast any paycheck cashed connected to a movie’s creation.
Soul Plane temporarily put Black actresses to work too. Does anyone remember who or how many? No, but we all surely remember how far it still has set all African-Americans back in a cinematic sense.
Strip clubs put struggling Black “actresses” to work daily. It’s never been just about putting Black actresses to work, it’s about responsibility in how paychecks are generated. The “Proper Negroes” already understood this to be true. Tyler Perry fans instead want to pick and choose when cinematic responsibility is important. The selective outrage is quite hilarious.
If Black actresses and Tyler Perry fans in general wish for the multimedia mogul to consider the implied messages casting Kim Kardashian sends to Black people and beyond; congratulations…you have just joined the “Proper Negroes” club…whether intended or not.
Tyler Perry hasn’t betrayed or fooled any of his fans. You’ve fooled yourselves. Perry in a cinematic sense showed you who he was long ago. It’s your fault if you didn’t believe him.

Kardashian Feedback – From the Social Media Mailbag
For those who don’t know, the post on Kim Kardashian began only as a Facebook status
update. Mo’Kelly knew in that moment he was going to write “an editorial”…but that’s no different than any other time in many respects.
Something happens in the world of entertainment, politics or both…and I can’t open up Microsoft Word fast enough to begin writing.
Personally, I don’t even think it’s my best work regarding Kim Kardashian. The preceding commentary indicating how Robert Kardashian deserves credit for the fame of Kim (and not Ray J.) to me was MUCH better in terms of content.
But readers seem to differ.
Never has a singular Mo’Kelly piece been shared and tweeted in such ridiculous fashion. More than a thousand here, and more than two thousand for the EURWEB.com version. Sometimes, some subjects just catch fire.
Can’t explain it.
I am humbled by the notes, tweets and emails. In fact, Mo’Kelly received his first marriage proposal. There have been plenty of death threats over the years, but this is the first marriage offer.
Here is just a brief sampling.
Again, I am humbled by all of the support. Many times Mo’Kelly writes in sort of a vacuum. The things I may think are great often times don’t make a ripple and other times a hurried piece of sarcasm is posted and it is highly noticed.
Writing is not a science, but it is awful gratifying. Just keep clicking on the ads to show your collective appreciation.

The Mo’Kelly Report Interviews Imani Showalter of Basketball Wives: LA
Listen to the extended conversation HERE.
End Credit Music: Always Sisters, Always Friends by CeCe Winans
I guess you could say Mo’Kelly has known Imani Showalter to a certain degree since 2005. It was after a piece on EURWEB.com regarding NBA forward Stephen Jackson, Mo’Kelly was DELUGED with mail.
Some notes were nice, some sho’ nuff weren’t.
In fact, some were from Stephen Jackson’s own mother and to this day her note resides in Mo’Kelly’s Hall of Fame. It is still true. If you can get somebody’s MAMA to email you, you KNOW you touched a nerve. Mo’Kelly waited a whole year to share it with the world in a followup piece, needing Jackson to again do something worthy of ridicule. But it was well worth the wait.
Stephen Jackson STILL isn’t Very Bright (2006)
Someone else connected to Jackson also reached out after the first editorial…Imani Showalter.
Yes, that would be the very same Imani Showalter featured on the immensely popular VH-1 program, Basketball Wives: LA.
Mind you, this was 2005, long before anyone thought the idea of Reality TV and the NBA would ever intersect. Imani and I continued to quietly dialogue and exchange stories about the entertainment industry, the NBA and the unsettling nature of both.
To this day, there are stories Imani shared over the years that are truly unbelievable and not appropriate for print, or Reality TV.
And that’s the thing…we’ve all long known that the reality quotient of “Reality TV” is questionable at best. How much is “real,” how much prodding goes on from producers and what tricks take place in the edit bay which inform or maybe misinform our perception of Reality TV, Basketball Wives or otherwise?
Over the past couple of months, Imani and I have been trying to schedule a time to sit down and have a real, meaningful and honest conversation about influence, impact and even arguably the inappropriate nature of Reality TV generally and Basketball Wives: LA more specifically.
Showalter is a mother. It will be interesting to see what regrets (if any) she may have over the many years and the path which has led to this moment.
I say all that to say…this is a real conversation, not a program paid promotion. Imani reads Mo’Kelly as often as any of you, she KNOWS what Mo’Kelly is about, how Mo’Kelly feels about Reality TV and she is all about entering into a meaningful dialogue.
Today Mo’Kelly presents an extended audio conversation between Mo’Kelly and Basketball Wives: L.A. cast member, Imani Showalter.

Time to Be Truthful about Kim Kardashian and What She Represents
UPDATE: Kim Kardashian releases statement! Read HERE!
In the past, Mo’Kelly has only made passing references to the sisters Kardashian out of their total societal irrelevance. But enough is enough.
Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian seem to be of the opinion their sister is being unfairly treated by the media and critics. Yes, Kim Kardashian is now the victim. Sounds like a job for Mr. Mo’Kelly.
President Obama had a pretty good October; first Gadhafi, now Kardashian.
The Kardashians reportedly mocked the wardrobe of the First Lady, on the heels of President Obama indicating he is not necessarily a fan of the Kardashians, TV show, or otherwise. The sisters also reportedly accused the First Lady of trying to “keep voters on a budget” and that she secretly worships their lifestyle.
Yes, criticizing the First Lady who advocates fiscal and dietary responsibility is always indicative of sound judgment and perspective.
Mo’Kelly needed that precursor to set up the bowling pins. Now, to knock ‘em down.
Given the news that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her “husband” Kris Humphries after all of 72 days of marriage, it’s time to reexamine how we came to this point.
First, the statistics:
The Kardashian wedding cost somewhere in the realm of $20 million dollars, which amortizes to approximately 278k per day of not-quite-wedded bliss. Conversely, conservative estimates are that Kim pocketed close to $30 million thanks to television rights and merchandising connected to the nuptials.
Kardashian banked 10 million in profit for a sham wedding.
Good business? Absolutely. Personally admirable or enviable? Absolutely not.
It is amazing how much money one can make when bereft of ethics, morals, scruples and honor. Then again, if your first million and first appearance on camera are both connected to a sex tape, it probably gets progressively easier to look oneself in the mirror moving forward. If you will defile yourself on camera for monetary gain on the strength of your family name, everything will always be on the table for the sake of a dollar.
Yes, Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce after 72 days. Til death do you part? Til death of the NBA lockout or Moammar Gadhafi would have made more sense. Planning the wedding took more than 72 days. Lindsay Lohan’s sentence for jewelry theft was more than 72 days. Not by much, but still longer. Mr. and Mrs. Humphries didn’t even make it to the end of Daylight Savings or the X Factor season finale.
Now for the not-so-rhetorical questions:
What does it say when someone spends $20 million on a wedding to impress people she didn’t know, to marry someone she didn’t even really like?
What does it say when someone pledges to spend her life with a man in August and then reneges before Halloween? Not only that, filing at the end of October likely means that Kardashian was probably considering it as early as Labor Day.
Michelle Obama…worships the Kardashian lifestyle?
All of this says that President Obama was exactly right.
Michelle Obama is married to the leader of the free world. Kim Kardashian is divorcing an unrestricted free agent with 5 or 6 years left in his career. Let’s not forget, it’s her SECOND divorce.
There is a reason why it’s called the First Lady of the United States. Emphasis on “first,” and “lady.” Neither of which even remotely applies to anything in the Kardashian world. According to Ray-J…Kim wasn’t even his first sex tape.
Michelle Obama is married to a former president of the Harvard Law Review. The HLR boasts 7 members who have served on the bench of the U.S. Supreme Court. Khloe Kardashian is married to…well…Lamar Odom, the first player off the Lakers’ bench, who boasts 2 semesters of education from the University of Rhode Island. And youngest sister Kourtney recently became a first-time babymama.
Groupies between the age of 18 and 30 might be impressed, but the other 332 million U.S. residents are not.
Michelle Obama’s man picks her up in Air Force One. Now that’s gangsta. DOMINO! (For those who play bones…you know what that means.)
Yes, Michelle Obama just LONGS to live Kardashian lifestyle and have her daughters emulate each of them.
Michelle Obama just celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary. Comparatively, mom Kris Jenner recently celebrated her 19th plastic surgery (as did husband Bruce).
Michelle Obama began her professional career as an Ivy league-educated attorney, making oral arguments and filing briefs in the courtroom regarding intellectual property rights. Conversely, Kim Kardashian began her professional “career” with a high school diploma, performing “oral” in her drawers in Ray-J’s bedroom.
Of course, Michelle Obama envies the lifestyle of Kim Kardashian and her two equally untalented sisters (wink, wink).
As my fellow Hoya classmate Lisa Copeland says, the Kardashian career has been a hugely successful “sex tape ponzi scheme.”
Props to President Obama for seeing fit not to invest in it. Yes, it matters that the President of the United States, father of two daughters has sense enough to dissuade them from being influenced by any and all things Kardashian. It’s the difference between following in the footsteps of Michelle Obama or Montana Fishburne.
Of course Kim Kardashian thinks she is the envy of every female. Most 13 year-olds tend to think along those lines.
It’s little different than the Birther mentality of Donald Trump, who also confused wealth and excess with social relevancy and import. Wealth will never excuse stupidity, only amplify it. The last Kardashian who mattered died 8 years ago. No amount of reality TV “success” will ever change this fact.
Michelle Obama has everything Kim Kardashian wants and will never have. You can’t buy it or fake it. You can’t pick it out of a magazine or hire a wedding planner to spend 20 million to trick us into believing you have it. It’s not connected to the number of Twitter followers you have or the team name in which a boyfriend competes. It can’t be given to you by any gift Tyler Perry movie role or any store opening in Las Vegas.
It’s called good sense, self-respect and honor. None of them is for sale. It’s what differentiates the women passed around by professional athletes and entertainers from the ones who set the correct example for young women, irrespective of color.
The divorce of Kim Kardashian is not relevant in a news sense, but it is a fitting moment to remind one-another of what it truly means to be a lady, “first” or otherwise.
UPDATE: Comedienne and actress Sherri Shepherd hit Mo’Kelly on Twitter to let Mo’Kelly know that she and her husband “Sal” had passed 77 days; and that Mo’Kelly won’t be writing about her marriage anytime soon.

Robert Kardashian Deserves Credit for Kim, Not Ray J.
It struck Mo’Kelly as odd to say the least.
You really have me to thank for all of this.”
Part-time singer Ray J. sent the above text to Kim Kardashian in the hours before her marriage to NBA free agent forward Kris Humphries. It was odd, very odd indeed.
This is not the first time that Ray J. has attempted to claim credit for the fame and popularity enjoyed by the family Kardashian, and it likely won’t be the last.
It’s no secret, the pair participated in a sex-tape years ago, purportedly leaked by Ray J. for publicity sake. It resulted in an undisclosed, yet financially rewarding settlement for Kardashian; who sued to block its release by a porn company.
Many millions of dollars later thanks to other television and business ventures, Ray J. is of the opinion that if it weren’t for “his” sex-tape, Kardashian, her multimedia empire and eventual husband would not be.
Let’s first consider the source. It’s Brandy Norwood’s little brother, whose greatest claim to fame has always been exactly that…being Brandy’s little brother. He is the answer to a trivia question on the Kardashian wikipedia page…at best. Any name-awareness he has, is inextricably linked to his successful older sibling. If anybody should be texting “fame” reminders, it should be from Brandy to Ray J.
Dear little brother, whatever little fame you have is all because of me. Love, your funny-looking big sis.”
Going further, if the magic of stardom were merely connected to a Ray J. Brandy’s little brother’s porn tape, common sense dictates that Ray J. Brandy’s little brother would have either repeated it with another one of his “girlfriends” or at least been smart enough to cash in on the Kardashian family freight train in the years since.
He’s done neither.
If Kim Kardashian should be thanking Ray J. Brandy’s little brother for anything, it should be for not having foresight enough to parlay the sex-tape into a piece of her family empire. The text actually highlighted his failure, not his supposed integral role in her success.
Do understand, Mo’Kelly is not by any means a fan of Reality TV or any of its so-called stars, K.K. included. There is nothing honorable about obtaining notoriety through giving (among other things) a b-job on a homemade sex-tape. Respect is earned through respectable behavior, not kicking off a career through self-disrespect.
Mo’Kelly is not impressed with anyone whose first six or seven-figure paycheck is connected to scraping one’s knees or carpet burns on tape. Yes, Kim sued to block its release but know it wasn’t on moral grounds but on business ones.
If K.K. sleeps well at night, good for her. Just don’t ever expect Mo’Kelly to respect who she is. ANYBODY can make a sex-tape.
ANYBODY.
But not just anybody can be the daughter of a high-profile attorney who sat next to O.J. Simpson in the biggest trial in the history of media. Therein lay the key to the Kardashian magic kingdom. The success will always be inextricably linked to father Robert.
Brandy’s little brother was simply the first to exploit the Kardashian name, and wasn’t even all that good at it.
To be fair though, you can’t argue with what Kim has done with her shot at fame, extending it well-beyond the proverbial 15 minutes. Her social capital has outlasted contemporaries such as Paris Hilton and produced a brand more respected than anyone connected to Reality television. Not just “anybody” can create generational wealth through such a small window of opportunity. If there is anything to respect about K.K., it is how she has run her business and further developed her brand. She at least didn’t stay on her knees long. For whatever that’s worth…
Professional athletes are given millions of dollars yearly to help develop both a business and brand for when athleticism can no longer pay the bills. 75% of them nevertheless end up broke. Having money and access do not mean your subsequent business decisions will either maintain or increase your net worth. In that sense, you can’t knock the Kardashian hustle. But that’s a different issue from whether K.K. is worthy of our respect for who she is. Let’s go back to Ray J.’s Brandy’s little brother’s text, paying particular attention to its last word.
You really have me to thank for all of this.”
What exactly is “this?”
The fame, the fortune, the exploitation, filming of the original debasement, what? Did he chip in on the wedding decorations? What does he mean? Most everything in which K.K. has been rewarded has been due to notoriety and nothing to do with actual accomplishments. The original sex-tape only had value relative to being the daughter of Robert Kardashian, not being tossed up by Ray J. Brandy’s little brother. He has it twisted. That tape has commercial value with anybody opposite her. The only person reminding us of the “co-star” is Ray. J. Brandy’s little brother.
What exactly should anyone be thanking Ray J. Brandy’s little brother for…at all? “Kardashian” was a household name in business and entertainment long before Ray J. Brandy’s little brother turned on the camcorder.
The Kim Kardashian “career” has been a magic trick of epic proportions, but in no way should Ray J. Brandy’s little brother attempt to position himself as the chief magician or puppeteer. K.K. has neither formal acting training nor fundamental talent, but stars on television and has appeared in movies. That is some special trick…as in “magic trick.” Don’t read too much into Mo’Kelly’s words, get your mind out of the gutter. She’s not a writer but released an “autobiography” detailing her “life” at the ripe old age of 30. That is some special trick. She’s never had a real job except working for her millionaire father. That is one hell of a magic trick, one in which Ray. J. Brandy’s little brother can’t lay any claim.
The truth of the matter is that all thanks go to the late Robert Kardashian. Without his last name, nobody ultimately gets paid, including Ray J. Brandy’s little brother and Bruce Jenner.
