About Urban Post and Niele Anderson:

Niele Anderson is a native of Los Angeles, California.  She was born on November 17, and furthered her formal
education at Grambling State University where she majored in Mass Communication.

In1999 in her grandparents back bedroom Niele launched P.L.B. Media Inc. with the goal of promoting the positive
instead of the negative for the African American community. Nobody but her and her grandmother knew it but she thought, “for now my and Nana’s prayers are enough”.

In 2004 she became the National Field Coordinator for Rock the Vote where she was part of a movement to help register over 1.4 million youth to vote and help mobilize over 20 million youth to vote in the 2004 election.

Next she began her start in radio with Radio One where she had the opportunity to work with the legendary Cathy
Hughes. She hosted a weekly Gospel / Community show on 100.3 The Beat/V100 from 2004 until the station was sold in 2007. Working not only in radio but also on TV One’s the Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors.  She then joined the staff of the historic Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper and preceded Virgie Murray as Religion Editor. For a short period she joined 93.5 KDAY/The Beat as the On Air Personality of Inspire Sundays and Public/Gospel Affairs Director for the station.

On February 1,2010 in honor of Black Heritage Month Niele’s company P.L.B. Media Inc. launched The Urban Post
Worldwide, an Internet news, information and lifestyle source. She states, I want to hear more information and positive stories in media regarding African Americans. The goal is to be the Afro-CNN with an urban twist (she laughs).  God has placed me around a lot of influential people and I plan to use it for good.”

Rev. Brenda Lamothe…OFFICER at the venerable First AME church in Los Angeles, made the “mistake” of trying to get the First Sunday church bulletins printed…meaning she’d actually have to use the Church copy center.

Rev. Lamothe evidently didn’t know the “secret password” and has been banned from the church properties.

Tammie Murray, who customarily does the Sunday bulletin was out sick.  Rev. Lamothe…church OFFICER, who already has a full-time day job took it upon herself to do the “Christian” thing and step in to assist as validated by the email below:

My name is Anteneh Gossa and I am the Director of FAME Housing Corporation and the Facilities Manager for FAME Corporations.  This email comes to provide clarity to the email you received earlier today entitled “Truth”.

I would like to provide information as to the policies and procedures of FAME Corporations, as carried out in my capacity of facilities manager.

The management team of FAME Corporations has gone to great pains to institute policies and procedures that ensure FAME facilities and properties are only accessed by authorized personnel for authorized purposes.  Our goal is to offer an open, safe, comfortable and efficiently run environment that
contributes to meeting the overall objectives of the organization.  This can only be accomplished by strict adherence to policies and procedures.

Our policy states that access to any FAME Corporation properties must be limited to times when it is reasonable to expect that they are staffed during regular business hours or by special staff assignment if outside of regular business hours.  Any special staff assignment would have to have prior management approval and be coordinated with the facilities management staff.  Any exception to this policy would have to be appro ved by an Executive Board member or senior management staff.  A schedule is in place that defines regular weekday and weekend building hours for all buildings.  Within these parameters, buildings and general areas within the building are routinely locked by facilities staff to ensure that sensitive business information is not compromised by unauthorized parties.  All of our policies and procedures support the primary goal of providing a safe environment for our staff and protection of our business documents, correspondence and work products.

Regarding the matter of Rev. Brenda Lamothe being allowed access to our print center, where our mail and other sensitive documents are kept, we again simply followed policy when determining who should be allowed entry. On last evening when Rev. Lamothe was asked to provide authorization allowing her access to the print center, she was unable to.  On several occasions I asked Rev. Lamothe to provide an email she indicated she received from Pastor John allowing her access to the print center.  In each instance she said she would produce the email, but did not.  When she was not able to produce the email or provide verbal authorization from an Executive Board member or senior management staff allowing her access to the print center, she was asked to leave.  She was asked to leave not because of any conversation that I had with Pastor John Hunter or Mrs. Denise Hunter, neither of whom were=2 0called as they were out-of-town attending a funeral.  Rev. Lamothe was asked to leave because our policy states that prior authorization for access to the building must be received from an Executive Board member or senior management staff.  Our staff was simply following the policies and procedures put in place that provides the framework for how we handle these situations.  Rev. Lamothe was treated no differently than anyone else would have been treated under the same circumstances, with courtesy and respect.  As a FAME team member, I appreciate and understand the desire of Rev. Lamothe and Tammie Murray to complete the bulletin, unfortunately their lack of coordination with the appropriate parties violated the very policies and procedures that provide structure to our organization.

In closing, I regret that as the facilities manager I was not given the opportunity to address this matter with Rev. Lamothe and senior management staff in a more private and internal manner.  In the future, I would hope that as professionals we would always seek resolutions that best serve the organization.

The FAME Palace/"Parsonage"

With special thanks to some very special sources, Mo’Kelly has come across some troubling information regarding the “parsonage” of Rev. John Hunter…

The 2 million dollar property in Encino is paid for by the members of First AME. The scripture said to bring all the tithes to the store house so that there may be “meat in mine house”…not bring all the tithes to the storehouse so that the pastor can live high on the hog in his house.

This is how Rev. John Hunter is living…the question is, how are his MEMBERS living?

But wait, there’s more…

Although the congregation foots the bill for the “parsonage” the pastor is responsible for the property taxes.  As of this moment the property at 16832 Otsego St. is delinquent $51,192.48 in property taxes.

As of this Friday April 10, 2009…you can tack on another $20,000 for the most recent 12 months of completely unpaid property taxes.  Now Mo’Kelly isn’t a math genius by any stretch of the imagination…but 51 + 20 is usually 71.  Meaning, as of Friday, the FAME “parsonage” will have $71,000 in property taxes owed on it with an interest penalty of more than $628 per month (which will also likely increase with the extra 20k in default added on.)

Just FYI, Mo’Kelly’s house is just “slightly” smaller than the FAME mansion.

In fact, Mo’Kelly’s annual house note is more than $21,000.  So if Mo’Kelly can pay his annual note, which is more than 21k, why can’t the pastor living rent free pay his property taxes of less than $21,000?!  Where in the world is all of Hunter’s money being spent…(and I use the term of ownership (Hunter’s) very, very loosely.) Where in the world is “Pastor Property Taxes” spending all of “his” money?

Clearly, it’s not on his property taxes.  Those that know him best can speculate for now…

And clearly, Mo’Kelly is in the wrong line of work.  If this is the house of a minister with a single church who drives a Mercedes, what does the house of a Bishop with a Bentley look like?

Before we go, let’s take one more look at the “parsonage” getting ready to be re-poed by the bank (with Hunter’s Mercedes in driveway).

Imagine how many more homeless people could be fed, children could be clothed and adolescents be sent to college if “Pastor Property Taxes” lived in a real parsonage…not an Encino mansion?

My bad, that would mean that the AME church was in the business of doing God’s work…can’t have that!

What was Mo’Kelly thinking?!

The irrefutable truth of the matter is this…

Since Bishop Kirkland has been in the 5th District, the only pastor of note that he’s moved has been Dr. Murph.  Would you like to see Dr. Murph’s house and compare notes?  Would you like to see Dr. Murph’s USED BMW and compare notes?  Although Mo’Kelly has specifically asked for any and all readers to send in proof of malfeasance, SPECIFICALLY of Dr. Murph, there has not been ONE email received.

Not one…

Mo’Kelly doesn’t randomly and capriciously print “this” rumor or “that” allegation, simply because it was a hot topic in the fellowship hall after service.  Mo’Kelly requires documentation.  If you think a pastor, or your pastor is doing something funny with the money or living beyond his means…bring the documentation.

As they say, “Come wit’ it.”

Mo’Kelly has been investigating a common thread in all of this the Bank of America at 6611 La Cienega in Los Angeles.  “Coincidentally,” most of the AME churches in the area bank there.  Most of the churches finance their loans there.

Although Mo’Kelly has written the top brass of B of A highlighting these “coincidences” as well as the documentation of the abuse of the B of A credit card for “personal” misuse by a pastor; Bank of America has yet to respond on ANY level.

The financial conspiracy reaches higher and wider than most might imagine.  It involves the complicity of banks, law enforcement and JUDGES.  This is far bigger than a pastor here or a Bishop there.  This is straight GANGSTA when you get down to it.

I say all that to say…

Baseless rumors aren’t commented on here in The Mo’Kelly Report and only 1/3 of my documentation thus far has been posted.  There is true diligence being exercised in the posting of this information.  Anything posted is posted because there is hard and fast documentation to support it, not simply because (“somebody says”).  If Mo’Kelly says “word is that John Hunter is on house arrest” it’s in part because his contacts WITHIN the LAPD can confirm that they’re “sick and tired” of answering domestic violence calls from this address and can confirm Hunter is in the “system.”

For further example.  If Mo’Kelly says he has evidence that John Hunter and Denise Brown are NOT married, it’s because he has documentation to

“I know they’re not married. Please post this!”

Mo’Kelly requires more than just that and if it is posted…Mo’Kelly HAS more.

Case in point…check out the following link.  It shows the “Hunter family” and their SEPARATE donations to the campaign of (then) Senator Barack Obama.  Notice how in EVERY official document, Denise is listed as “Brown”…not Hunter.  That would be because officially, she’s NOT married to John Hunter.  Tax liens are pretty “official” in nature.  Campaign donations are pretty “official.”  She is his live-in concubine and it is what it is.

I would like to share an experience with you that I with Bishop T. Larry Kirkland.  We like to call him “Wolfie” because if you look at his profile in a photo, he looks like the “Big Bad Wolf” from the Little Red Riding Hood story.  When Bishop Kirkland returned to Los Angeles as you probably know, the AME Church hosted a dinner gala for him at the Biltmore Hotel.

In support of our pastor, a group of us decided to attend the gala welcoming his return.  After the usual brouhaha and congratulatory roasts,  we commenced to eating ham, turkey and roast cut straight off the bone along with side dishes to die for.  We listened to various prominent pastors from really large AME churches kiss up to the Bishop and laughing at his jokes which by the way did much in the way of humor. Little did we know why they were kissing up, we found out later.

He was returning at a most convenient time, a time where it would be his decision whether he sent your respective pastor packing or if he gave them another year to kiss up properly.  After the evening was over we left more confused than we were at an earlier church conference for our church.  We made the unfortunate mistake of deciding after our service that following Sunday to support and accompany our pastor to another celebratory service at FAME for Bishop Kirkland.  This is where it gets really ugly.

The first 15 minutes we were made to feel guilty about how they overspent for his 2 weeks at the Biltmore and that each of us should come up with no less than $50 a piece to pay for the extra $25,000 bill from the Biltmore they were not able to pay.

Um…excuse me why did the Bishop stay for two weeks?  He could not have stayed at one of the lavish parsonages of one of our mega-pastors?

(Mo’Kelly’s 2 cents – Couldn’t get an actual picture of the executive suite Bishop Kirkland stayed in, but HERE is the floorplan.  Note, Mo’Kelly said FLOORPLAN.

Also, the Executive Suite in which Kirkland resided in is at a room rate of $600.00 PER NIGHT!  A two-week stay runs more than $7000.00…not including room service, not including dry-cleaning service…not including the dinner gala and ball room.  Altogether the bill could have easily topped $75,000.)  But back to the email…

Anyway, this was just the FIRST collection; the second one is the one that sped up our departure.

20 minutes after the initial collection, the pastor of FAME had the audacity to stand in the pulpit and say they counted the money and it was not enough.  He (John Hunter) then pulls out a $100 dollar bill, drops it in the velvet basket and says he dares anyone not to do the same in the name of the Lord and our Bishop!!!!

(Mo’Kelly 3 cents – Those who attended the annual conference closing (also held at FAME.  Kirkland pulled the EXACT SAME STUNT.  Held an offering to “cover the costs of the conference” and before all the money even hit the baskets, declared they were still $3000 short.  Mo’Kelly isn’t real good in math, but he’s real good in common sense.  Common sense says that when you announce you’re $3000 “short” before you even count the first offering, you’re full of ish.  “Coincidentally,” Kirkland’s hand-maiden Rev. Joseph Nixon practices the same “double-offering” at Brookins routinely.)

The twenty-some odd pastors on the altar with him all commenced to taking out a $100 dollar bill and putting in the velvet basket.  If this wasn’t some set up, I don’t know what is…

My boyfriend and I promptly left, disgusted, disgruntled and disillusioned.  You see we are not new Christians but new to the AME family, we love our new church and our new pastor but we could do without “Wolfie”.

No, not the controversial website, but the scandal for which it is named.  First AME church has been in the midst of a firestorm rarely seen by a church as it battles to take control of its pulpit from Rev. John Hunter, AKA  “Pastor John.”

The Los Angeles Times ran two articles in November and December respectively detailing the shady financial dealings of John Hunter and the internal turmoil at the church.

But today, thanks to spies working in conjunction with The Mo’Kelly Report, we will lift the veil partially on what REALLY has been going on and who is pulling the strings of the puppet in the pulpit.

Although the first Los Angeles Times article ran in November, the First AME Board of Directors was informed September 4, 2008 by law firm Holtz, Slavett and Drabkin that charges totaling of $122,262 were made illegally by Hunter and “must be repaid” to FAME. (The law firm is the official legal representative of FAME).

What most people do not know is that the letter Mo’Kelly has now posted was sent ONE MONTH after Rev. John Hunter was officially informed by the same firm that he was to repay the full $122,262 plus $6,000 of interest and card charges.  Also, no “payment plan” would be allowed.

So what did Hunter do?

Most people (including Mo’Kelly) assumed that an existing 2.7 million dollar loan would have been used to immediately repay the debt.  According to other irrefutable information Mo’Kelly has received, the aforementioned loan AND the $122,262 outstanding debt were paid off through the sale of four FAME properties for a total of FIVE MILLION DOLLARS in November of 2008.

FIVE MILLION DOLLARS!

Meaning…”Pastor John” repaid none of the debt out of his own money.  FAME still picked up the tab.

But wait there’s more…

To date, John Hunter and the Presiding Elder (who Mo’Kelly cares very little for) have refused to document the $5,000,000 and how it was spent.  According to Mo’Kelly’s source, Corporate Treasurer Dessie Roberts will not release any related information either about the proceeds or how the money was distributed.

And speaking of FAME officers.  There is ONE FAME officer who may have “a bit more” insight on the $5 million than the other officers.
