This should be surprising to absolutely nobody if you were paying attention.  Given how apparently displeased at her treatment at the corporate media giant, reticence to back Roger Ailes publicly and fight to receive a contract comparable to Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly…this isn’t surprising.

What is interesting to note is that Kelly will have a daytime slot (as well as weekend) as opposed to a nightly presence.  Different dayparts, different audiences, different path to continued success.

The New York Times reports that Kelly has agreed to join the network for a daytime news program and an “in-depth” weekend news program. The report also claims that Kelly will “take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.”

Although Kelly quickly rose to become a star at the conservative cable news network, she upset some Fox viewers this year thanks to her frequent clashes with President-elect Donald Trump.
