Jim Rome Interview with NBA Commissioner David Stern Gets UGLY and PERSONAL! (AUDIO)

Full Disclosure…I used to work for Jim Rome on his radio show back in 2002. The obvious question in response to video is whether there is any truth to David Stern’s question?
No…not to my knowledge, not even a little bit. Stern was being an ass. You never mention a man’s wife and mother of his children like that. You don’t disrespect a man’s wife.
Ever.
What am I talking about? Listen to the interview…it is pretty unbelievable.
Jim handled this beautifully, respectfully and with class. He received none of which in return. Let’s be clear, the NBA has already had problem with one of its referees (only one that we “know” of) shaving points on games.
It is fair to acknowledge the reasonable concerns surrounding the league and its lottery and handling of the Lakers’ trade to acquire Chris Paul which Stern rescinded.

That's a LEGIT question! Go back to what year? 1985? When Ewing was picked 1 overall by the Knicks and if my memory is correct the envelope had the corner up.
Don't like Jim Rome but Stern was out of line too
Do you seriously not know that rhetorical question 'Mo? It's the perfect response to someone asking you a ridiculous or loaded question. And having to answer conspiracy charges every lottery has to get tedious. If there was any proof of tampering, owners would have sued the shit out of the NBA. Millions if not Billions are at stake in those drafts.
No, it’s not the “perfect” response. Jim was asking an NBA question relevant to the discussion of NBA issues. One can argue that the idea is ridiculous, but the response was not one of equivocation.
Not only that, he went on to mock the whole of Jim’s career. There’s nothing wrong with responding in a way which acknowledges his feelings about the nature of the question without all the extras.
How does Stephen A. Smith also applied to the discussion? Was that the perfect response too?
I have no love of Jim Rome and I’m surprised that people are still granting him interviews. Go to Youtube and put in a search for him and Chris Evert (quarterback). You will see how he unprofessionally taunted Evert, calling him Chris Everett (female tennis star) and the quarterback was pretty much forced to stand up and knock this PUNK out of his chair.
I repeat. I have no love for this bully and surprised people are taking him seriously as a journalist.
