AME Exposed – First AME's John Hunter Sued for/Charged with Sexual Misconduct?

It has been confirmed that there exists a NEW lawsuit/complaint which has been brought against Rev. John Hunter of First AME here in Los Angeles alleging sexual misconduct and other “improprieties.”
The lawsuit/complaint was brought against him by another member of the ministerial staff and until the documentation can be produced and then posted, the name of the complainant will be withheld.

Mo’Kelly won’t speculate as to certain details until he has the complete information in his hands, but has confirmed its existence.
Let’s be clear…CONFIRMED its existence. This is not gossip or conjecture. Y’all keep doubting Mo’Kelly. The unveiling (and disrobing) of the AME Church is going to rock the ecumenical world a la the Roman Catholic Church.

Saturday and Sunday nights from 8pm - 9pm PDT on XM 244.
Why is Hunter still in the pulpit? What has to happen for them to sit him down or to lock him up? All of these pastors and ministers who go along with this mess should be put out also. This is crazy.
I am in prayer for whoever filed these charges, because I know the people with not blame the predator they will blame the victim.
Mo' I also heard that Kirkland met with the pastors in the Southern California Conference and told them if they didn't have their assessments that they were going to be moved! Fear and Intimidation!

Mo' I want to say something about these pastors and ministers who know what's going on and don't say anything. I want to call them a bad name, but I know you won't post it. But these pastors who play the games should go to their churches on Sunday morning and find that only they are there. Theese pastors are caught up in trying to be in the "in crowd" or the "bishops boy/girls" and they have sold out he people. I heard someone say that these ministers are 'paying to pastor' which is not in accordance to God's Word. We have to remember that there are those wolves who come in sheep clothing to confuse and play tricks on the people of God. Stop the madness and STAND for what is right in the sight of God and His Church.

AN OPEN LETTER TO REV. JOHN J. HUNTER:
Rev. Hunter,
Your sermon today “REMEMBERING YOUR FIRST LOVE”, made me think of you. Do you remember your first love? Your first love was to be God when you became a minister, and you put your first love to the side for the love of material things. And please do not get me wrong, I am not saying that you do not love God, I’m saying that at this time, God is no longer your first love.
You and Mrs. Hunter came into FAME with a Chip on your shoulders. You requested a higher salary than the previous minister, you requested a new home, and you requested a new car (now two new cars). You entered FAME as if you won the LOTTERY. The FAME Board honored your entire request, and than what you did, you tried to rip off the church. Did you have a $2,000,000 home in Seattle? Did you have a new Range Rover? Did you have a $6,000.00 piano in your home? Did you wear $1,000 suits? Did you eat at the best restaurants? I will answer these questions for you “HELL NO”.
I want to make it clear that you have done some major achievements here at FAME, But your indiscretions out weighed your accomplishments. With the money that FAME pays you, your door should be open to anybody who wants to walk in, even if it’s a bum off the street. You have had paid security around the clock for you and your family members. You have taken many trips and vacations on the church money and all were not related to church business. You have removed volunteer members from positions they have held for over ten years, just because they did not agree with your underhanded tactics. Our church name is “FIRST AFRICAN METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH”, but you have replaces 90% of our African American staff with Hispanics. This is because they accept cheaper salaries, and they ask no questions, so anything you or Denise does is alright with them as long as they get paid.
No one is perfect, not even you. And we did not expect you to be perfect, but we did expect you to try and come close to perfect as possible, being a man of God. But you have placed good members in situations that they can no longer get out of because they tried to honor you and protect you as our minister. Now your Crew is wrapped up in your mess. You said that you did not some of the things you done were wrong, that is a lie. You said the previous minister did some of the same things, but that does not make it right does it? You and Denise have a you don’t need to know attitude towards the members of FAME, and that is unacceptable. The Conference is coming up, and you ask for people to sign up so you will know how many will be attending for lunch, well most of the members will not be signing you list, because you are trying to find out how many members are going to be there, and not because you want to feed them.
So Rev. Hunter, you try and remember who your FIRST LOVE IS, and stop trying to intimidate members during your sermons. And yes a lot of the members have things to put in order in their own homes and lives, but our first order of business is to get FAME BACK IN ORDER. I am going to sign my name; I am not going to be anonymous, because I am a member of FAME, and always will be, that is something you can not take away from me.
Homework: FIRST TIMOTHY….HOW TO BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN LEADER….

I read Carolyn Hills rebuttal, but how can you listen to Hunter stating that Rev. Murray stole. He's telling people back here that Murray stole money, I will bet my life and God with me that it didn't happen. You guys should have stopped this long time ago. This is a disgrace to the Murray's when you go along with his antics. We knew back in Kansas, Missouri and Seattle; every church he's been to, he has destrowed and the last wife he was married too, she was running buck nake down the street from her, father came and got her and annuled the mariage. I pray that Fame DO SOMETHING, STOP GIVING LIP SERVICE. For everyone that is working there they need to clean house including the LATINO'S.

Lock them up. I already hear that the FEDS is in on this -- big time! Look at the charges they can face? Watch out for Judge Irma Dillon (Hunter Girl friend or once in while Booty Call Freak) They need to stop stealing money. Her husband got $500,000 and has never worked a day in his life. Must be nice when you have that CHURCH hook up. They PIMP the church, vote them out.

For Hunter to even try to tarnish the name and reputation of the legendary Cecil L. "Chip" Murray is an affront.
Under Pastor Murray's leadership, the church books AND his office were open to all. He worked 6 1/2 days per week. AND he did it for over 25 years.
Hunter can't and never will be able to claim that.
The monies that pastor Murray brought served the church and the community. The money Hunter "brought in" served Hunter and his family.
Pastor Murray never asked for a new house or a new car. He was happy with what God gave him. Pastor Hunter has a warped sense of entitlement. Ministers are supposed to be humble.

When you have something against another Christian, why do you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter, instead of taking it to other Christians to decide who is right?

In a previous posting I wrote a very extensive response to another article posted on your site. In the end this is what I wrote…posting here because I feel it also applies to this posting (changing and adding a few words): As Godly men and women our job is to pray for our leaders regardless of their behavior or our personal feelings regarding their behavior. They will have to answer to God not you or me. I would only caution you (and others) to be careful about what is said about those God has called. There are many examples in the bible of people who spoke against God’s annointed and suffered the consequences for doing so. I remember when David was having problems with Saul and was ready to get rid of him… what did God tell David, ” Touch not my anointed and do my Prophets no harm.” God said this knowing that Saul was in sin! Its God’s hand that will judge the real from the fake. In saying this, I think we should pray for the AME Church, Bishops, Pastors and members (even those we dislike…LOL) but most importantly, we have to be careful how we judge men and women of God. There is not a man or woman of God, whom he used mightly for the kingdom, that was without fault. When you see a man or women of God needing prayer we are to pray and not judge. The word says that we should bare one another burdens. Not trying to preach, but just reminding you of what the word says. While all of your articles and postings seem to be written to “expose” the corrupt within the AME church, all we really need to know is that these people need prayer. There are many great men/women who have fallen prey to sin…King David, Saul, King Soloman, even the great Dr. Martin Luther King…he had several extra-marital affairs, but we do not talk about that as a black nation…yet, we "cast stones" on these pastors for their sins. While I am disgusted and saddened by these corrupt acts, I am also reminded to be careful ya'll. God is the same God now as he was then…ALL you really need to do is pray, keep filth and gossip from your tongues and as for the rest, trust that God will take care of it… Exposing these "secret" things may be of God, because what's done in the dark is brought to the light, and often God allows things to be revealed so we as prayer intercessors know what to pray for and against (the enemy is very strategic), not rejoice in or gossip about. The devil is busy and we are all falling prey to his plan to destroy.
Praying for/gossipping about/hoping for/rejoicing in someone's destrution or demise is not of God. These type of stories should be heartbreaking to saints because they make us look bad as a nation, a Christian and especially as a culture. Tis not a legacy I want my children's children to be known for. We REALLY need to pray ya'll not rejoice in knowing you were right that they were corrupt. Love ya in Christ!
This isn't gossip. John Hunter is a criminal. Also, criminals are supposed to be in jail. Render Caesar what is due Caesar.
