AME Exposed – All-Out War Declared in 5th District!

Rev. Dr. Frederick Murph

Rev. Dr. Frederick Murph

UPDATED 9.3.09/RELATED: Proof of Dirty Dealing between Superior Court Judge Irma Brown Dillon and First AME’s John Hunter

_____________

Rev. Dr. Frederick O. Murph (i.e. employee) is his ongoing battle against presiding prelate (i.e. district manager) has released two rather stunning documents.  The first details a response to a formal inquiry by the IRS as to district-wide malfeasance, specifically the collection of more than $357,000 by the 5th district of the AME Church, that has never been accounted for in any manner.

Click HERE for letter to IRS.

If that weren’t enough to un-starch your drawers, check out the timeline of

events, detailing the actions and improprieties committed by or under the direction and influence of Bishop “Wolfie” T. Larry Kirkland.  Mo’Kelly would ask for a response from those named in this timeline, but heretofore Bishop Kirkland has had no public comment on any allegations, (explicit or implicit) made against him.

Click HERE for the “Demonic Timeline.”

(Note: any and all individuals referenced within the “Demonic Timeline” are welcome to speak on their behalf in the form of a formal statement or interview if he/she wishes to refute any allegations contained within the document.  The Mo’Kelly Report publishes it only as a list of “allegations.”)

That said…

There’s really no other way in which to describe this.  This is a declaration of war within the AME Church.  The amount of financial malfeasance makes Barbara A. McKinzie of Alpha Kappa Alpha look like a Girl Scout in comparison.  And yes, the mainstream press already has this information.  Remember, you knew the story FIRST here in The Mo’Kelly Report.

Mo', this is interesting! I can't wait to hear a response!

If this outline is true, then there are millions of (hard working, struggling and sacrificing members) dollars going into the pocket of Bishop Kirkland. Is that why Bishops fight over coming to the 5th? So they can become millionaires?

This is a sad day for our church. It's time that we STAND up and reclaim what God has given us through Richard and Sarah Allen. Their sacrifice should not be destroyed by greed.

Brothers and Sistahs, regardless of were you worship, God is not pleased with our behavior today. Remember Jesus was not pleased with the behavior of the leadership of His day. The Scripture tells us of how Jesus went into the Temple and threw them out, because they were over taxing and taking advantage of the people. His Fathers House is the the House of Prayer, Not A Den of Thieves! The people have been taxes enough. It's time that we call for an Independent Financial Audit, which is within our rights per the Discipline, of the 5th District Funds.

This week I will be submitting a letter to Kirkland and the Council of Bishops requesting a complete independent audit of the financials of the 5th from July 1, 2008 thru June 30, 2009. If we truly want change, I would encourage members of the 5th to do the same.

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised!

    • The question isn't whether "it" is true…only a matter of to what degree. And any small degree of truth is both devastating and telling at the same time. Our churches have devolved into sinful businesses only for the purpose of lining the pockets of the leadership. They have become everything antithetical to the supposed original purpose. They have become the "moneychangers" that Jesus threw out of the temple.

This makes me not want to join anything. AKA president embezzelled, or was given according to who tells the story, over a million dollars in a years time. Now you have these people embezzeling too much money to mentally process. I have always said, in terms of tithes, that I wanted to see the check they wrote to God, not the pastor, to God.

    Description of Complaint:
This complaint is filed against Rev. Tyler who until October 2008 was pastor of Wayman. In May 2007 the men of Wayman held a golf tourament for the John & Estelle Moten Scholarship Fund. The event netted about $5,ooo, which at Tyler's insistence was placed in the church's Central Budget. Sometime later Tyler had two church officers to sign a check transferring the funds to a checking account under his sole control. When asked about the location and availability of the funds several times Tyler returned $2,963. When asked about the remaining funds Tyler has refused to respond. I can provide details and supporting documentation. The funds were clearly raised for a single purpose. Tyler is a pastor in Denver at Shorter Community A. M. E. 3100 Richard Allen Church Denver, CO 80205.

  • Timothy Tyler:

Fact one: The funds were not turned over to the Pastor at "his insistence." The funds were turned over voluntarily.

Fact two: The funds were not signed over to the Pastor. The funds were placed in the account historically used for these funds from the beginning.

Fact three: The Pastor was not asked about these funds several Times. The Pastor initiated the request to verify the amount of funds in the account prior to leaving.

Fact Four: The $2000.00 was placed in the central fund to meet outstanding debt and budget with the understanding that the funds would be replaced for the grade awards.

Fact Five: The 2963,00 which was the balance in the grade account was issued to Wayman in November 2008. The officers and new pastor allowed the check to sit until it was no good / expired. The former Pastor, paid his own travel and housing and replaced the check, when asked, a courtesy.

Fact Six: I continue to pray for those who are hindered from moving forward

The former Pastor called and spoke to Mr. Moten (as a courtesy, he has no authority in this matter) . The former Pastor wrote a letter of response. The former Pastor emailed and a response was given by the former CFO. So the notion that He has not responded is false.

  • Timothy Tyler:

    Last Fact:

This group of Men were not represented as "Men of Wayman." The pastor informed the Men that they could not use the churches name because alcohol was served at the event. The Men opened a private account under a seperate Tax ID # to store the funds. I believe Moten was a signer on the account. The church was never apprised of the total expenses and income of the event. No funds from the event were handled by the church financial system. The men, at their own leisure presented the funds to Wayman for the grade fund.

Again 7 years as a Pastor of a wonderful congregation, records will show I was the top contributor/tither -- left with the church owing the former Pastor over 2000.00 in back pay and other items—--and their is a letter from Moten to the state about $2000.00???????????

    Lord Help The Church!!!!

  • J. Moten:

RESPONSE TO "FACTS" PROVIDED BY T. TYLER ON 9-06-09.

The funds after receipt by the Wayman Central Budget were ultimately transferred to Bank of America acct. # 081000032. The only authorizea signature on this account is T. Tyler.
Information requests to Tyler about the funds are contained in a certified letter dated April 7,2009 USPS article no. 7108501041103500; and emails dated June 1,2,17,and 25.
According to Rev. Myhand's letter to the Missouri General on August 14,2009 there are no records to support the assertion that there was an agreement to use the funds for other purposes, or to support the "facts" presented by Tyler. The letter does state "There has been a change in the pastoral administration of Wayman AME Church as of June 2009. Prior to that time the recordkeeping was inconsistent at best. However,it is clear the money was donated to Wayman AME Church for a specifis use and should have been restricted for that designated use only. It is also clear that the funds were transferred to an account bearing the name and the EIN of Wayman AME Church."
The cashiers check issued in November 2008 was from a bank in Atlanta,GA not St. Louis, MO where Wayman is located.
Tyler never requested a review or an accounting of the funds from the event. The bank statements are in J. moten's possession and available. Although no accounting was requested Tyler did accept the proceeds on behalf of Wayman.

    • Mr. Moten and Dr. Tyler,

I'd rather not have you two fight this out in a comment section or in a thread. I'd like one of you to either send me actual documentation or go on the record. It seems "odd" if neither of you do.

  • LockThemUp:

Mo, Has anyone looked into the loan $250,000 to Judge Brown-Dillon husband Randolph (who is a well known womanizer)? Maybe you can research this better then my source, but I hear that his company is a front. Not real. This story is even bigger than what most think. Find out Mo and let us know.
RE: Hunter’s critics say they are also troubled by the appearance of a conflict of interest over two business loans involving FAME Assistance Corp. and Randolph C. Dillon, the husband of Irma Brown Dillon, a top church officer and Los Angeles County Superior Court judge. Randolph Dillon said he took over the first loan in 2005 after buying the original loan recipient, Base Architecture & Engineering. He said he took out a second loan for $250,000 from First AME in January to support the firm’s expanding business at Los Angeles International Airport.

    Lock their a** up!

    • LockThemUp,

You keep posting this same comment all over my site, Facebook and email. I appreciate your enthusiasm but you obviously ignore the post I did on Dillon and the loan specifically citing the LA Times excerpt you keep posting. I am looking into it, but I'm only one person who has a 60-hour a week day job. Instead of re-posting the same information over and over again…how about some help instead?

  • LockThemUp:

Sorry Mo, I will e-mail you some info.

  • All of this is crazy, look let's just start over with this program. One thing I know is if we "The Congregation" stop tolerating this mess, it will stop or at least slow down. How can anyone expect another church to cover the assesment fee' s of another church that chose to leave the ame 5th district (SMART) and can not pay their own bills. LOL yes that is crazy. Oh do not forget the EDF fund. Your church pay into this since the church was established over 50years, and when the churc needs help the Bishop says
"You Better Have My Money" kind of like "social security", work all your life and when you turn 65 or disabled, you have to fight with them about your money.
